The term Muscle Cars was coined in the 1960s, the factory hot rod, or hot rod killer. Auto manufactures took their cue from the growing Hot Rod movement, and suddenly one could buy a turn key factory hot rod. Featured here is a 1968 Dodge Charger, and a 1970 Chevelle SS. Many a hot rodder would wait until the rich kids would crash them, and then grab the drive train for the local Junkyard.
